Getting to R12

Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 has been around for a few years now. There are fantastic advantages in the new release, but the most compelling reason to upgrade to R12 this year is because Oracle Premier Support for 11i is going away. By November of 2011 you will see a 20% Oracle Support cost increase to maintain your systems on 11i.

So between now and then, you need to be looking at your business, at your existing Oracle applications, and at your and support situation. And then you need to map out the most cost effective way to upgrade to R12 to gain efficiencies, lower risk, and save money.
